Privacy policy

Your files never leave your local network. Transfert Wi-Fi runs a small server on your phone. Only devices on the same Wi-Fi network (or on the phone's hotspot) can reach it. Files, thumbnails and text go straight from the phone to your computer, with no server in between. The developer has no access to them.
- No account, no sign-up. The developer collects no personal data.
- Protected access. A random PIN is created at each start, and each new device must be accepted on the phone. The server never listens on mobile data and stops on its own after a period of inactivity.
- What stays on the phone: the transfer history (file names, sizes and dates), the settings and the list of approved devices. They are never sent or backed up online, and you can clear them in the app. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
- Permissions. The app can only see the categories (photos, videos, music) and folders you choose in the settings. It never asks for “all files” access.
- Advertising. The app shows a single Google AdMob banner. It is the only feature that uses the Internet. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads, personalized or not depending on your consent. Consent is collected with Google's form (UMP), and you can change it at any time in Settings › Ad choices. See Google's policy.
- Children. The app is not specifically directed at children under 13.
